Refined Victorian!
You love antiquing or working in the garden when not planning the next fabulous party you're hosting. You love the preparations and presentations of life but this doesn't mean you're shallow -- far from it. You want your friends and family to feel cared for and comfortable. Like a Victorian house, you can be dark with mysterious passages, but for someone willing to look there's always a sunny spot.
The funny thing is, this is just as true as saying ranch house, contemporary loft or whatever. I have discovered over the years that I can be just as happy in just about any house and/or decorating style. I can fall in love with an ultra modern Italian leather couch just as easily as I can fall in love with a mid century mod style chair or a French Provincial armoire. I'm not sure why, but I can tell you that it makes decorating very difficult! I will see something I like, bring it home and realize that it does not belong at all. I do not like matchy-matchy, but I do like cohesiveness.
